I remember one time that Cory’s father Marty Feldman was on the Howard Stern and Cory called in and went after him big time for stealing most of the money Cory made as a child actor. It got pretty vicious and Marty didn’t deny a thing.

Is raping a child a federal crime? Child porn is.
If so, I don’t think federal crimes have a statute of limitations, I could be wrong.
And if aggressively pursued by a pit bull lawyer this case could probably be brought to trial, or at least be made public.

I don’t think the names mentioned had enough power back in the day to be the culprit. I am thinking director/actor or someone with that kind of power to be casting kids. Someone like Rob Reiner comes to mind.

There is no point on speculating who it is (and speculating could be dangerous).
Corey Haim made a credible claim that, as a young teen, he was raped by a pedophile who was powerful enough to keep it covered up. A number of insiders have known who it is for a long time. But no one has said anything. Other kids have been raped by powerful pedophiles and it has remained covered up. Or if they name names, they are crushed by the Hollywood legal and publicity machine. This incident, more than anything else, tells you everything you need to know about Hollywood.
