`<title>DRUDGE REPORT 2016®</title>

The Drudge page is badly formatted. It is missing the top-level <html> and <head> tags.
Note the weird leading spaces and the grave mark that appears before the title tag.
The page isn't even valid HTML.
My iPad is so dirty I ever would have noticed it
I was about to post the same thing, along with noting that the usual "<!DOCTYPE ...>" first line is also missing. It looks to me like his boilerplate/template got damaged.
The head is in there, scripted. Javascript for the HTML.

Yes it was an old retired couple using a old Tandy scanner they recorded it for their grandson
But not as fun as intercepting the signal and feeding her special things to say at the next “debate”...
Yes it fell in and now just rattles around up there like a one bean morroca
I know we're making fun a little bit, but tomorrow IS Friday, and that's the day when all the best Hillary scandals break.
Been going to Drudge for years and never knew this secret. How long typically until he releases? Maybe this huge story is why his site had a few days where it seemed he was MIA. If so, I don’t think it’s the N. Korea Nuke test.
More likely thousands of juicy hacked documents.
Electors are fine. As long as they don’t have time before the actual election to drag out someone less tainted. Although in the democrat party that is no small task.
I dissected the page using the HTML DOM Explorer debugger (F12) in IE, which expands the dynamically created JavaScript DOM, and it shows
[html]
[head][/head]
[body]
`[title]...[/title]
[/body]
[/html]
(Change the square brackets above to angle brackets.)
The grave mark precedes the title tag, which is wrongly placed in the body instead of the head.
It still looks pretty broken. (I’m guessing the browser inferred the missing html and head tags and inserted them at the top.)
I think it’s good I haven’t known about the mark all these years. Now I’m going to be staring at Drudge all night.
I think the backtick is generated by a beeber-like device.
The opening lines of the HTML on the page are missing. This causes validation to fail completely. Click on the following to run the W3C's validator on drudgereport.com:
I didn’t either! And I’m a 1998 ‘Freeper thru Drudge’, too! I thought it was a bit of dust. I’ll have to watch it now as a routine. Imagine -— looking for a spot on the screen as a daily thing!!
Javascript is way over my old head, but when I use the inspector tool in Firefox, there are a ton of scripts right after the HTML tag with a bunch of stuff about different browsers, the ads and so on.
If you look at Amazon, they too have simply !DOCTYPE HMTL and nothing specific written after it.
Hillary drops out, Holder/Weiner 2016
Interesting. But Drudge seems to work for everyone. ??
