Because I did, and I did not feel any PC component at all, and the Christian element was heavier then the original.

I agree it was a mistake, typical of Hollywood's almost complete lack of originality. But on the other hand, people ought to remember that the 1959 classic was itself a remake of the silent version, 1925.

Yeah, I did and as I said it was GREAT, or at least really good. Too bad that the curmudgeons here on FR can’t get behind an excellent family movie like this one.

One thing all the naysayers seem to have in common is that none of them actually saw the movie.
