The point: you better be darn sure of your accusation before you start accusing someone.
Jesus, in the woman taken in adultery story, preserved in the Textus Receptus, tells the entire crowd “he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” He was addressing the fact that they were protecting at least one of the adulterers, also a violation of the law of Moses, and a sin of omission on their part.
As for Chablis, or any of us, sin kills. Some sin kills something quickly and in a terrible, abominable manner.
We can't pretend it isn't sin (harm), and we should be honest about it, but "if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us."
