Thanks. I’ll file that for future reference. But the need to change font size on-screen varies from one thread to another, or one page to another. The beauty of Android is that you can enlarge or shrink it, merely by sliding your fingers open or closed, at will.

Uh, Tucker, it's worked that way on iPhones from the very first iPhone. . . even on FreeRepublic's pages. How come you didn't try it on the iPhone you had? Android copied that from the iPhone. You can see Steve Jobs demonstrate that feature on the original iPhone in the original KeyNote presentation from January 2007, long before the first touch screen Android phone was ever made. Alternately, you can just double tap a column of print and it will expand to fit the screen.

I tried it, and NOTHING happened. I “owned” that iphone for 24 hours; and I was one unhappy camper. NOTHING I tried, worked. So I took it back to the Verizon store and told them I couldn’t use it. THEY couldn’t change font size, either.

P.S. They took the iphone back and sold me this Galaxy S-4. And it’s not just fonts. I’ve noticed that photos on an iphone are the same. What you see is what you get. You can’t enlarge them like I can on my Galaxy.

You can do that on MacOS in Chrome and Safari. It's called smart zoom. Double two-finger tap in the column you want to expand. Pinch or spread to adjust. Double two-finger tap again to reverse. It's a killer feature.
