Gotta tell you brothers that I have soft spot in my heart for “Fran The Man”. When they got to their 4th Big Game (AKA: SuperBowl) [and not wanting Bendy to get into any trademark problems here) ,the fans were actually chanting “One for the Thumb”: that is, the 2nd place and loser-rings.
The other QB that I have the same “Tarkenton-like” admiration for is the “Gun-Slinger”...Jeff George [just ask Jeff, he’ll tell you!].
