Best. Series. Ever.
Grab a 24-pack, a fifth, or a coupla' bottles of wine, and watch them all back-to-back. Much fun.

Truly best series ever. I’ve visited the Village/Portmeirion twice, staying there once. There were NO lights at night, and I walked through the deserted village in the dark down the path from one of the iconic buildings where my room was to the sole phone booth — long before cell phones. Never will forget it.

I was with my parents, on vacation in a boring hotel on Cape Cod, when I saw the first episode of
The Prisoner. It must have been the summer of 1968, so I was about to enter eighth grade.
As I watched the first episode on the hotel television set, I became totally hooked. My first question was "what is this, some Massachusetts thing?" My second question was "what if they don't have this on TV back home."
But they did. When we got home I was able to watch again and again, all summer long.
For many years, the spinning geometric I-T-C logo that preceded each episode gave me a thrill whenever I happened to see it, even though it never again foretold a reappearance of that remarkable television series.

In the 90s my philosophy professor borrowed my vhs tape of “The Prisoner” with Harlan Ellison’s commentary. I received it back with it taped over with “Faulty Tower” episodes. Both made me love UK tv when it was decent.

Someone in Ohio has KAR12OC as their license plate. I was considering getting it as a custom plate and saw it was available, but then checked later when my time to replace my plate and it was taken.

I’ve owned it on DVD for more than 20 years. Also Secret Agent man and the precursor Danger Man.
Like them all.

Okay series but for fun, class and beauty, try the original “The Avengers”.

Agree one of the best series ever. Way ahead of it’s time. I’ve had the full set of seasons on dvd for a long time. Time to watch them again.
