I really get sick of Michael Medved on Trump as well. When he discusses Trump you’d think you’ve tuned in to Air America. He doesn’t like Hillary either, but he spends a LOT more time complaining about Trump.

Being a former NeverTrumper, I understand a lot of his points, but he’s violating one of his own staunch rules: support “our guy” with full force.

He mentions all the time that he REALLY hopes that somehow Trump is replaced with someone who can “beat hillary” before the election. What he doesn’t get is that if that were to happen, a HUGE block of those who would have voted for Trump will simply not vote. and some will vote for Hillary out of spite.

Michael Medved?????

That troll has been a liberal in conservative clothing forever.

He has no credibility. I am surprised that anyone even listens to him. I didn’t know that he was still on the air.

Speaking of “air”, he is a waste of it.

Reagan ran into a lot of internal opposition too. Not equating Trump with Reagan, just pointing out the “precedent” for this kind of behavior. Party purists eating their own.

The people clearly want an unconventional outsider this year. They’ve had enough with politics as usual and are sick of professional politicians screwing up everything.

The pundits may not agree with them or like it, but that’s the political reality during this election cycle. The country is broken. People are tired of the insincere rhetoric, false promises and lies. They want real change and results and, for many, Trump (with all his imperfections) seems to personify that. He is the standard bearer whether the Never Trump people like it or not.

In my opinion we should be thankful that someone like Trump is willing to stand up for us and take the slings and arrows that inevitably come at you during a long and exhausting campaign. None of the pundits are willing to put themselves on the line yet they are content with throwing stones at him.

Medved is being disingenuous. He only cares about the citizens being blocked from electing anyone who would reverse 30 years of bipatrtisan policy of non-enforcement of immigration laws.
That is the most important thing to the establishment, who are owned by the Cheap Labor Express and Medved is one of their propagandists.

I wonder whether he secretly endorses these kinds of articles:

He certainly was behind the Rules fight at the convention -- which lost by a significant margin. One of the rules changes couldn't even get the 27 delegates needed to bring it to the convention floor. The one that did get to the convention floor couldn't get enough delegates to even look like a real effort to derail the Trump nomination.

The naysayers were all a dither that Trump might not even be able to get to 1237 delegate votes at the convention. After the end of the first (and only round) of voting, Trump had 1725 delegates. Cruz had 484. Cruz actually lost 67 delegates when Alaska tried to pull a fast one and, by rules of the convention, lost their delegates to Trump. That WAS sort of funny, ironic, and a tad bit of Karma.

Good points. I myself could not stand either McCain nor Romney, yet I held my nose and voted for both. I supported Cruz at first and then switched to Trump last Winter. If other so-called GOP cannot support Trump at this late hour then they are absolute traitors to the cause and do nothing but help the Marxist Democrats.
