I guess they figure that anyone serious enough to take the time and trouble to actually write and mail a letter is serious about it.

Calls and emails are effective as well, but I don’t recall if he said they reached the same level of effectiveness by representing the same calculated number of people.

I agree. I think calling or emailing is better than nothing tho...

I photocopied WSJ article to enclose with letter. Anyone have an idea of who might be committee chair for this type of matter?
