A New Jersey man picked a fight with his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son, telling the defenseless toddler to put up his dukes before beating him to death.
Zachary Tricoche, 24, of Pennsauken was arraigned Tuesday in Camden County Superior Court on murder charges after his pathetic attempt at a boxing match with little Jamil Baskerville Jr., who weighed a mere 29 pounds.
Tricoche was then transferred to Camden County Jail, where he’s being held on $1 million cash bail.
Just prior to the Saturday night attack, Tricoche had gotten into a heated argument with his girlfriend over food she had purchased that was not up to his standards, prosecutors said.
During the war of words, Tricoche shoved his girlfriend, prompting the boy to cry, prosecutors said.
Tricoche allegedly challenged the boy to a fight by ordering him to put up his pint-size fists.

I have a neighbor with a 6 year old son and 2 year old daughter. Since the son was born, at least 5 different men have lived there. Weird they all had the same name....daddy.
Tough guy. I wonder how well he’ll fare with a few guys more his size ... like Bubba in the next cell, and 416094-3, who’s doing 25 for repeated felony assault.
It looks as if he knew what was coming.
This is 15-20 minutes from me. I volunteer to save to taxpayers time and money.
A century ago this would have been settled in a day.

I read this book at least twice as year, and I see its material replicated everywhere in the news and often in real life.
Perhaps God allowed this to happen because He already knew that a terrible future on earth was in store for the little boy should he live. I often think this way when tragedy strikes a family that is totally and unabashedly abusive. It is so heart wrenching what some of these children go through . . . This little fella is in a better Place. Jesus loves the little children. . .including big ones, too.
In the animal kingdom don’t most mothers try to keep adult males away from their young? The adult males kill the offspring.
This is a great example of adult male animals killing offspring. No higher evolved than animals. Pure morally devoid animal.
I think male lions will kill off male cubs when they take over a pride sometimes.
