The “unknown” ‘at the time’ was regarding who was releasing the data....some thought initially it was coming out of Russia..which seems to always be the first thought for anything happening such as that...but then the guessing started....I never did see who actually released the e-mail data....but by morning every Global Warming enthusiast had their pants in a knot...and every true Climatologist was in a happy dance.

Assange has stated many times they aren't about political parties.....they are about revealing political corruption no matter who is pulling it off. So far Wiki's been 100% right....and they are payed well by those who use their services to conceal the identities of who their sources are as well as International Leaders who are some of their clients.

There's a Russian parable that speaks to the self centered stupidity of the Left and LBGT crowd.

A Russian three horse sleigh [Troika] was being pursued through the vast wintry woods of Russia by a pack of hungry wolves. The six occupants of the sleigh could hear the wolves getting closer and decided to throw one on their number to the wolves as an appeasement to them and the survivors could escape. This went on until there was only one occupant left in the sleigh. In the end, sacrificing everyone to the wolf pack did not help the sole occupant. The wolf pack was patient and the ate him and the three horses pulling the sleigh. The same will happen to appeasers of the Muslim killers.
