I paid a quarter for this Fels Naptha soap grater at a tag sale last week. I don't know why I bought it...I like vintage kitchen stuff. I think my mother had one like it for pre-treating laundry stains..

Well, I guess if you rubbed your shirt or pants against that thing, it WOULD take the stain out ...

Which reminds me that Ivory Soap makes an excellent (grated) cheese substitute over a plate of spaghetti. :)

It's probably worth a lot more than a quarter. See if you can have it appraised. At least check it out online.
