In one segment of a pre-taped interview with Fox’s Ainsley Earhardt aired Monday morning, Republican Veep candidate Mike Pence couldn’t help but chuckle with she repeated Trump’s promise to win basically the entire African-American vote.
“He says that by 2020 he’s going to have 95% of the African-American support,” Earhardt said, compelling Pence to laugh. “Why are you laughing?”
“Well, that’s Donald Trump,” Pence said, adding that his running mate was a “truth teller.”
Trump’s strategy for minority outreach has come under scrutiny. He has been criticized for both his message (“What have you got to lose?”) and the fact that he has delivered it to largely white crowds.
According to a poll this month, Trump is polling at 2% with African-Americans.
This is what freaks me out about what FR has become over the last few months. No dissent will be tolerated.
I don’t think he is a liar, I think he says what he thinks but later has to back that up, pretty often. If that hairlips the Pope then tough shit. I have a right to voice my opinion, right up until I get booted off this place.
Just because I question his plans does not mean I want the Hideous Hag to win, not even close. I have said it before but I guess y’all missed it: I’ll be there first thing in the morning the 8th of this November, with a pocket full of clothes pins. But what if he doesn’t win? It will be because of the abuse the Trump fans have heaped on people who might have wished for a different nominee. Deal with it. Or die.
What I am doing here is contributing to the revenue and atmosphere. When the management is through with all that, guess I’m done. Miss me.

I am all in for Trump, and have been since day 1.
You would appear to have a valid point about his business success, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s good with numbers. He’s obviously a genius with people.
He probably can’t do brain surgery either, but that doesn’t mean Carson was a better choice.
I just still cannot comprehend how he (repeatedly) made that mistake about the $300 billion in annual savings on drugs, and no one around him checked it out and corrected him until he got nailed on it in one of the debates.
They are there. Just not in large numbers. I think they are afraid to go because of the main stream media’s portrayal of Trump. But little by little he’s gaining with middle class blacks that want a better future.
A lot of middle class blacks are religious and Hillary is not their cup of tea. Obama got a pass because he was one of them. Hillary isn’t.

His $300 Billion a year savings on prescription drugs didn’t pan out either. Someone had probably told him that could be saved over 10 years.
He needs a good numbers man (or woman) on the campaign, and in office.
I’ll just say this: I’m not cheap, but reasonable. :)
Nothing wrong with "fudging" some sets of numbers to make it clear who Blacks ought to vote for and to psyche out the competition. I'd wager he will get upwards of 25% of the Black vote Nationally and higher in many areas.
If it doesn't happen, it will be because many will not support him in the endeavor for one selfish reason or another. Way too many "situational conservatives" among us.

I also believe he is going to do spectacularly well with the black vote, and this will be a major key to the election.
What is wrong with saying “What have you got to lose”???....I basically feel that way about Trump.....I was at his rally kick off in Mobile, AL....Still feel the same way! BTW Had a blast at that rally....Lots of young folks there...I was proud. Let me add a little bit to this....The area DJT had the rally is pretty much 99% black. Many of us white folks couldn’t fathom the thought that maybe 20 black people showed up. This is a welfare area or whatever you want to call it. We stood outside of the stadium and noticed they were all sitting idly by on their porches and never bother to cross the street. Any person could have just walked in during the rally started...... They weren’t even curious....They just sat there staring at us...it was not lost on anyone.....Brain dead and taken care of....it hasn’t changed for generations.
