So I had commented on an article where the nyt I think, was picking apart trumps debt and insinuating that his acceptance of loans from box/GS was somehow a horrible thing for a presidential nominee to do.
I surfed for a bit and wanted to read what others had written. The topic is completely gone, my comment isn't listed in pings.(my comment was 'and if it was Hillary they'd say the 950 million annual debt from boc/GS was covered plus xx% by annual leases' and then 'remember when Hillary stole priceless antiques from the wh so she could eat like common folk' or something along those lines.)
So where did the topic go? Is this site becoming like GLP and censoring topics? There were 8 other comments on that topic I believe.
Not good if active topics are being trashed if someone doesn't like what's said.

Anyone who is anyone at FR has had a post or thread they started deleted. Why you aren’t even considered a bonafide Freeper unless you have had something you posted deleted. So welcome to the club.
You just yell at your computer monitor a few times pretending it is Jim or the nasty mod who deleted it, and then you get over it and move on. Then you send a nice big fat donation to FR for the nasty things you yelled at Jim or mod.
Life ain’t fair and somebody has got to make the decisions around here. Part of being a leader is peeing people off on a regular basis.
Speaking if threads that didn’t make it...saw nothing on FR about the statues of Mr. Trump that popped up around the country a few days ago....methinks a preemptive strike by mgt.! Never saw the light of day, direct to the “trash bin”!! ;-)
Has anyone checked the Chad counting election officials down Florida way? They might know.
Jim, a family member said the New Yorker Magazine ran a hit piece on Trump’s business practices. I’m loathe to go read it. Do you recall these types of hit pieces and what’s been your reaction?

There is no doubt that former policies or allowed activity have really put a damper on contributions. Many people have been virtually driven from FR. Many of them paying customers.

...and in many cases the exact opposite. The overbearing allowance of comment on some threads particularly those of a religious nature.
You must have been around about as long as me, if you remember that TV show. I remember it well.

If only that were the case. I am seeing the same story posted three times in an hour, and up to two weeks later.
A reason should ALWAYS be given. There is no way to correct behavior unless you are told the REASON for pulling the thread. If there is no REASON given, then you can deem it censorship by a mod who disagrees with you.
Oh, yeah. Most of the mods here are great. A few are complete idiots
If the poster had put it up as an example of something we believed I could see pulling it as trash. But clearly it was being pulled up to pick apart and show what the enemy was up to. If we can’t stay abreast of that we will be unprepared to counter it.
