This may come as a shock to many, but training costs money. Men fail but the weeding out process keeps the percentages low. With women most wouldn’t pass the preliminaries to get to the course. But with directives from higher up, training resources and money are now wasted.
When men fail a course but are able to stay in, they get whatever the services need next. Rare is a great career field, usually it’s the lowest on anyone’s list. I wonder what job she’ll get now.
And risk lives and injury because of it.
Kurdish woman don` need no grueling. She can be heard grenade spotting and shouting orders; see her at 7:53. She takes the grueling course - up a Turk fortified mountain peak.
Sign her up for the Marines!

Wow. Thanks for that post. And thanks for your service.
“missionary”
Ta Da! ROFL!
Anyone know what the distance/weight/time requirements are?
They don’t belong in any combat or combat support position, the proud mommies and daddies of FR not withstanding. It is only a matter of time before the COS order one of the b!tches to be passed, just as they did with the “Mommy Rangers”.
Not sure my father would approve of women in combat. The Master Gunnery Sergeant served toward the end of the Korean War 3’rd Battalion 9’TH Marines. He was the undesignated photographer for the Battalion. I have been going through some of his old film slides and scanning them. He had pictures of training on Iwo Jima and Okinawa before going into Korea. There were still bones on the battlefields. In live fire training exercises on Okinawa he had an ear drum ruptured from a claymore detonate he was to close to, and obviously on the correct side on the munition. His Battalion was also one of the first to train for airborne assault in helo’s in HRS-1 Sikorsky. He had a good friend who was a full bird OF-5 Army Colonel that ran MASH units in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. My dad would jokingly upset him saying a Marine Sergeant had more authority on the battlefield than an Army Colonel.
I helped train Navy/Marine F/A-18 pilots for 8 years. Women can actually tolerate G forces fairly well and many are dam good pilots. But I would never want my daughter in combat. Killing is a brutal ugly business that most civilized humans instinctively reject and bury deep within them to be able to function as soldiers. One of my uncles was with the 1’ST Marines on Guadalcanal 1942. Survived the battle including Henderson Field, but would never talk about it. The only person he ever did was with my father, when he convinced my dad not to volunteer for Vietnam, and stay home with his five kids to grow old. No women in combat, ever.
It's August 16th as I type this. She washed out twice in two weeks?
The battlefield and the enemy will never reduce the physical and mental requirements!
Bless her for trying, but I think this outcome is going to be the best thing for all involved. These are very high standards and I’m not sure I could meet them myself. Semper Fi, young lady, and thank you for your service.
Re : Post #28
~ Great post! Thank you! I especially liked, “ My dad would jokingly upset him saying a Marine Sergeant had more authority on the battlefield than an Army Colonel.”
Brilliant...
Someone posted her enlistment here. I don’t have time to find it but we know who she is. She was a skinny white girl standing at attention. It didn’t look like a USMC provided photo but more like a photo mom took at the recruitment office.
yep- women WIIL BE:
On submarines-
will be on SEAL teams
will be para rescue
will be green berets
and damn it... they will be assigned to a marine
regiment at sea- not a peep out of the repugs about this
Thanks for the reply. I loved the old man but would not have wanted to be one of his boots at Camp Pendleton. He took us on 50 miles hikes in the High Sierra’s and even at 18 and 130 lbs. I could barely keep up with him and he was 30 years older. None of my sisters could have survived those hikes with 75 lbs. of gear 10 miles a day in severe terrain meant for deer and mountain goats.
McCain, that traitorous bastard, is responsible. Once he let the homos in the dam broke.
Marine Commandant Gen. Robert Neller wants to increase the proportion of women in the Marines.....
(((
The plan is to destroy the warrior culture and to make the military less attractive to male enlistees. All geared toward the goal of weakening our defenses.
They obviously are going to have to make that course a little easier for the wimmin.

Executive order coming up....
Yep.
