For years I have read comment after comment about don't believe anything Snopes says. I ignore those comments and still check things out on Snopes. Like today going around on Facebook is a picture of Obama dressed like a black panther holding a gun. I knew that picture looked familiar but NOT of Obama. Someone had photo shopped Obama's face into the real picture. Snopes showed it as being FAKE.
The holding a gun part should have been enough to show you it was a fake. However a picture of Obama as one of the Village People would be tougher to disprove. Or at least it would fall into the category of fake, but accurate.
