This is what happens in a society where the structure makes it possible for worthless people to breed and continue their idiocy from generation to generation.
They have too much idle time because somehow, some way, the government provides them subsistence in one manner or another. Whether that assistance is financial or intellectual pandering to outrageous whims, the effect is the same.
They provide no value added to society. Far worse, actually - they border on mentally defective self haters.

The area apparently got its name from the colours of the wildflowers that dot the shoreline. There are bacon and eggs wildflowers? It would be awesome if they smell and taste like the real thing.
