This year, Costas is all about identify politics, focusing on the number of Muslims,women Muslims, women, black women, brown women. It’s not supposed to be the best, it’s supposed to be the biggest. It’s bringing all these mostly marginal sports together to do them all at once, often times in a slightly modified format to make time for all the other sports.
