A Google employee from New York City who disappeared on an afternoon jog while visiting her mother in Massachusetts has been found murdered in the woods.

Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said Monday that 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte was reported missing after failing to return from a run between 1pm and 4pm in Princeton.

Her body was discovered at around 8.20pm Sunday by a state police K9 unit near Brooks Station Road, about a half-mile from her mother's home.

A source told Fox25 in Boston that investigators were examining the possibility that Marcotte was sexually assaulted and set on fire, with burns to her hands, head and feet.

You might want to read this:FEDERAL LAW

regulation of a State or any political subdivision thereof, any
person who is not otherwise prohibited by this chapter from
transporting, shipping, or receiving a firearm shall be entitled to
transport a firearm for any lawful purpose from any place where he
may lawfully possess and carry such firearm to any other place
where he may lawfully possess and carry such firearm if, during
such transportation the firearm is unloaded, and neither the
firearm nor any ammunition being transported is readily accessible
or is directly accessible from the passenger compartment of such
transporting vehicle: Provided, That in the case of a vehicle
without a compartment separate from the driver’s compartment the
firearm or ammunition shall be contained in a locked container
other than the glove compartment or console.

I don’t know what Massachusetts law is regarding the transport of firearms from other states. Before we travel, we make ourselves aware of the laws regarding such of the states through which we will pass.

We also don’t disparage those of other states for that which is a foundless slur.

Damn shame. The extra weight in each hand, carrying a loaded 38\380\9mm\etc., might have saved her life...and improved her work-out!

_____________

What are you talking about? That I said that guns were not permitted in Massachusetts. That was my understanding based on the border signs. Not a slur.

However, always eager to give customers what they want: Masshole.

She was a Google employee and they are rigging the search results, so I would look into it deeper before saying it was not a political hit.

That said, I think it was some low life wanting sick kicks. That they aren’t saying anything about the perp is telling.

Stop spreading lies about Massachusetts.

Those aren't lies. There are towns in Massachusetts where you are not going to get a permit. Absolutely not.

There are a handful of towns that will issue permits but I'm not going to name them here.

It’s just so hard to apologize when you’re wrong about your facts like you are, isn’t it? So much easier to just insult the person who calls you out, like you just did. Let me guess, you consider yourself a God-fearing Christian right? Lol, you’re definitely not. But insults can go both ways.

I’m from Mass. And many of us carry guns. Don’t blame us and call us massholes just because you can’t comprehend or take the time to learn the laws of a state you choose to drive through.

gut impression: pre-planned hate crime of random victim with more than one perp under 30 involved. People don’t normally carry combustible materials around in their back pocket to burn hands, feet and head - the three identifiers of the body.

it’s still perfectly doable for most people to get a carry license.

THAT IS NOT TRUE.

If you live in Boston and some of the surrounding towns it is not possible for the average person to get a concealed carry permit.

I know people who have serious experience in the military who moved because their city/town wouldn't issue permits .

OTOH I know some who were able to get permits. Maybe because they were well known entertainers or politicians.

I told the poster I did not know and was going by the gun information signs on the turnpike.

He told me my response was insulting. I disagreed and showed him what a real Mainer insult is.

My wife isn't an entertainer or a politician.

She was able to get the permit easier than when dealing with the DMV (automobile bureaucracy for those not in MA).

After she was issued the permit, the police chief told her to have me go and get one.

You're living in the wrong part of the state.

How is this poor woman connected to Hillary Clinton and why did Clinton have her killed?

My wheels were turning, also. I'm re-watching Rubicon. I watch too many cable dramas.

So you live in a town that issues permits and based on your personal experience you conclude that the average person in Massachusetts can easily get a permit. It's not true. Not at all. Many towns flatly refuse.

You have no idea where I live. Hint: it is not in Massachusetts. But I do know people who have moved because their police chief flatly refused. And I do know at least one well known entertainer who was issued one - even with a well publicized history of drug use. That's Massachusetts!

Well, Google execs are a regular fixture at the Whitehouse, and Google was very involved in Obama’s re-election campaign. A Google exec is also very involved in Hillary’s campaign. There was a Google exec murdered by a prostitute on his yacht, and Dave Goldberg of SurveyMonkey was killed by his treadmill. Add to that almost 50 financial exec’s mysterious deaths.

This could be a coincidence, or not.
