Poll: Young people's fear of white extremism varies by race

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The threat of violence by people inspired by foreign extremists invokes fear in a majority of young Americans across racial groups. But for young people of color, particularly African-Americans, that fear is matched or surpassed by worries about violence from white extremists.

A new GenForward poll of Americans age 18-30 shows widespread anxiety among young people about attacks from both inside and outside the United States.

Gregg Higgins, 27, was one of the whites who said he was very worried about violence by extremists in his own race. In fact, he said he was more concerned about "the homegrown white extremists" than the threat of violence from people outside the United States or people inspired by foreign extremists.

And young Mr. Higgins is a clueless yet reliable democratic voter.

Apart from some paranoid fantasy inspired by Hollywood movies about the Tea Party, what are they talking about? The nooses on dorm room doors? Oh you're watching the right videos; the point of this thread was, once again, to show how biased this meaningless AP and other mainstream media "polls" are.

Yep. It wasn't that long ago that some news reporter got canned for just publishing some common sense rules for whites in dealing with unknown blacks. One which particularly made sense says that if you are in a public venue such as a concert, sporting event, fireworks display, fair, etc. that you should leave as quickly as possible if a large group of blacks show up.

Even if they aren't polar bear hunting, there is a reasonable chance you could get caught in the crossfire. Just leave.
