I read when Ted and Van Halen were doing a show together, at the sound check, Ted picked up Eddie’s guitar and played it. Sounded like Ted. Eddie pick up Ted’s guitar and let rip. Sounded like Eddie. Ted had a trouble understanding that for a bit. Seems he thought the magic was in the instrument...
