I like 10. What is all the fuss about?

1. Windows 10 has a built in keylogger that transmits every keystroke you make, back to Microsoft World Domination HQ.

2. You WILL begin paying a recurring subscription fee for the privilege of using their 'free' operating system, at some point.

Frankly, I don't have any objection to Microsoft changing their basic marketing model from one of a straight product purchase, to an annual subscription (for updates, upgrades, etc.), but the way they went about trying to convert their customers, is despicable.

They should have clearly announced to one and all, that they were changing their business model, and offered anyone who wanted Windows 10 to opt in to the new operating system, with the full knowledge that they would pay an annual fee for updates and future upgrades.

That would have been honest and above-board, and would have probably enhanced Microsoft's standing with the public, but no. They had to do things the Redmond way instead.

Amen!!

I did not know that; I further assume that at least 80% of Microsoft users do not know that.

The apologists for Microsoft just make me sick. I just wonder what universe they exist in. Most normal PC users have a life, and computer operating systems, and their "business models" are not the central focus of their entire existence.
