My mother was a single mother———widowed young.
She could have been the one needing help.

She was a widow, not single mother. Single mother is a term that’s implies the women is a slut.
But she wasn’t. Single mothers, along with their brats are already the golden calves of our society, and I won’t cry for them when I’m already paying for them. A strong back bone is more to be admired (by myself) than one who wears their grievances. Just one man’s opinion.
