Minimum wage is irrational, stupid, and socialistic.
Supporting it is also a requirement to get elected to any office in this country.
It is what it is.
What is better, a minimum wage which keeps the employee off welfare and actually puts in labor hours at the job,
-or-
Pay them welfare, food stamps, rent subsidy, medicaid, etc. And not have to do ANY work?
I am in favor of welfare option. Minimum wage is anti-capitalism.
