Christopher Walken likes to watch.
If that gives you the willies, youre probably thinking of the Oscar-winning actors more unsettling roleshes played sadists, murderers, madmen, mobsters, mercenaries, psychopaths, evil masterminds and extremely messed-up Vietnam vets in the course of a career that began in the early 1950s.
I have played a lot of villains, he admits.
But what Walken likes to watch is just outside the windows of his home in rural Connecticut, on the cusp of a nature preserve, where hes lived with his wife, Georgianne, a Hollywood casting director, for nearly 40 years.
There were four deer in the driveway this morning, he says. There were turkeys here yesterday. My wife saw a snake in the driveway the other day. Hummingbirds come every day almost to the minute. They come right up the window and stare at me. Its almost as though they know Im there.

I love him as The Continental”.
I started to laugh at the mere mention of the name.
I was doing research on the web last night to find out what breed of cat is used in the movie. Could not find that information about this movie. To me, it really looks like a Maine Coon. FReepers know I am a Maine Coon aficionado (mine is watching me type this at very close range...), so I know what a Coon looks like. Is this a Coon, a Coon mix, or a Norwegian Forest Cat (very closely related species which looks a lot like a Coon)? In any case, the cat is really a beauty!
Pennies from Heaven was one depressing movie!

Did anyone else read this in Walken’s voice? :-P
Not many dance men left. Not needed these days but still a great talent to have. He does a little in “Joe Dirt.”
I could not sleep last night so what else is new anyway A view to a kill was on he was great in that movie as Zorin
bump
He’s good in everything he’s done. Mousehunt = hilarious. Great family movie too.
...while visions of him being nice enough to drive me to the airport.
Did y’all ever see him as “Verner” returning champion on an SNL “Jeopardy” skit?
The games how was a takeoff on the Calvin Klein “Eternity” ads. To this day, it is the single funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. I used to be able to find it on youtube, but now I can’t.
I didn’t before, but now I can’t help it.
That it was but that dance scene is pretty good!
The role of a lifetime, LOL. The funny thing is/was, he obviously enjoyed it. Although he’s possibly a bit chagrined that it’s possible that more people remember him for that SNL skit than any single other role.
I’m still bothered that Walken has never talked about his potential role in Natalie Wood’s death.

Yup, and I am still chuckling.
