Hillary Clinton and the Democrats should be worried.
Why? Because Donald Trump delivered Thursday night and did what he needed to do. No, he didn’t deliver a speech with great oratorical flourish. No, he didn’t broaden the base of the party significantly though he did speak about minorities and the LGBTQ community in ways that he hadn’t done before.
What Trump did, and he did it very well, was to raise the stakes of the election and define it in his own terms. Law and order, crime in the streets, and terror. He managed to make the argument, compellingly, that these challenges were the central ones America faced and that given the failures of President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, his way of change was the only way to go.
It was a long speech, it ran well over an hour and it was repetitive in parts. But that doesn’t matter. Trump was ultimately speaking to a fairly discrete and arguably specific constituency of Americans. Concentrated, though not exclusively, in the swing states of the industrial Midwest.

MSM is already calling the entire convention racist. Saying everything that was said is code(dog whistle). I personally needed to hear him say many of the things he did say. Now they will start on the substance. They will say he didn’t give anything but platitudes. The question is what will Hillary say. She can’t say much without opening many doors to crush her. She will never say anything but her own agenda. She has never given a specific plan for any subject in her entire career. Stick up for women. Stick up for kids. Stick up for education. Blah, Blah, Blah! I doubt anyone but Trump will point it out. That is why he is the right person at the right time for POTUS.
The only thing I miss on FOXNEWS is Harris Faulkner and her Political Insiders.
I just saw another Clinton ad on TV and it made me sick. I have started switching the channel immediately when a Hillary ad comes on and I delete that channel from my TV channel list. If I wind up with no channels left to watch that is fine but I will not support any broadcaster who allows her to spew her ignorance.
They are running scared but they’ll mask it with arrogant vitriol come the dhimmi dawg n pony show. What else can they do? Hellery has no warmth to exude, she can’t run on “lawn order”, economic growth or security.
The only card left in her hand is a thoroughly dog-eared race card. I’ve seen several pictures of her lately buddying up to domestic terrorists, er blm thugs. A substantial portion of her campaign is being underwritten by izlamics so she’ll do nothing to piss them off.
She’s screwed - but not in a good way.

Exactly! No matter how much the media whores are trying to bash Trump’s speech millions upon millions of people’s heard it and saw it first hand last night. They can play make-believe all they want this morning and all the way to Election Day.....Trump hit it out of the ballpark 100x over!! ! I loved he called out the media in front of millions upon millions of Americans!!!! That was a five star speech !! Folks the bastards are shaking in their boots!

It WILL be interesting to see how they present themselves next week, and we can use the words, "running scared" or whatever, but their response will be their agenda presented using our words against us.

After seeing the appealing Trump children, are they going to trot out Chelsea Clinton and her babies as counter programming? They are going to try to convince us that Bill and Hillary are doting grandparents, perhaps??? How will that go over????

It was a great convention, with great content and great optics. Can the liberals override all of that and get the convention “bounce” often seen in polls?
If a Republican says crime the Democrats say racist! That is the very worst kind of pandering. It is also messaging to the offended race that their crime is OK.
