Two parents in South Carolina knew something wasnt right when their normally mild mannered and playful dog started acting strange toward the babysitter they hired to watch their infant son.
Their dogs behavior eventually led to the babysitter being convicted of abusing that same child.

Dogs are a whole lot smarter and caring about their humans than most people give them credit for. Good puppy.
“You were a stranger and the dog thought its job was to alert when strangers were around. I dont approve of kicking a dog that was not physically threatening you.”

Gotta go along with that, if the critter is just annoying you ignore it.
There was this puny dog who lived in a house I used to walk by pretty often, he would bark like crazy at me from behind the fence every time I walked by, following me along the fence.
One day the pooch did this and when he got to the gate, he realized the gate was open. Terrified, he stopped barking and ran to the other side of the gate, behind the fence, to pick up on the barking at me. Gave me a good laugh.
Love good dog Carl!
I’m beginning to think that the dog was onto something, myself.
Really? The guy disapproves of you kicking a dog that wasn’t a threat to you and you want to fight him?
Why don’t you take it somewhere else. Sounds like the dog was just trying to warn everyone that a door to door salesman with aggression issues was in the neighborhood.
That dog should get a medal.
Khan Could also go back to Cohen. I had a friend with that name who told me that.
Yikes! Where’s the burka?
To me, yes.
Black labs are extremely protective of kids. Not even family kids, but just kids. When I was learning to ride my bike a neighborhood black lab stayed between me and the road side of the sidewalk. My dad remembers watching this occur multiple times.
Dogs do think things out. I’ve known some dogs who will not be friendly if the boss doesn’t say it’s okay. That’s particularly true of dogs who’ve had rocks thrown at them or have been kicked, particularly when they were not being aggressive.
Per the muslims. Ban ‘em. Remove ‘em. Never let ‘em back in again.
Wish that was our national policy.
Clearly you have never been a salesman.
The response from the 1st Ahole:
“You were a stranger and the dog thought its job was to alert when strangers were around. I dont approve of kicking a dog that was not physically threatening you.”
I was not a stranger in the house. It was my first time there.
I assume you remember this:
“The dog actually followed me for hours.
Hours!
I travelled more than two miles with a dog on my heels barking and yapping at me.
The dog was not in control.”
Do you control YOUR dog?
I rather think - NOT!
Get that dog a porterhouse!
If we all went started kicking things that followed us around, yapping for hours on end, we’d all be in jail for domestic violence.
If the dog was growling, showing its teeth and you felt like it was going to hurt you then I could understand. Sans that, it’s a pretty damn cowardly thing to do as is threatening someone here with physical violence if they don’t agree with you.
Cheers.
I absolutely love dogs. I just lost one of my best little friends to a car. Totally my own fault but it hurts badly.
It hurts to lose one regardless of the reason.
Clearly you did not understand my original post, nor my follow up to you.
I dare say, when was the last time a dog followed you for several miles, barking at your heels all the while, and you were content to go to your ‘happy place?’
You are not a man.
Just like dogs, some men need to be kicked in the ass, don’t you agree?
And probably the dog's food too.
I’ve read about it. He was found worthy of Heaven because he wouldn’t abandon his dog.
