I believe it is Trump's obligation, as the victor, to be the bigger man and do his part to heal the rift in the party, regardless of who one believes to be fault. That's just the way these things work. The victor must be a good winner.
Here's what he should work into his speech:

The result would be a healing of the rift, the NeverTrumpers would shut up, and Cruz and Trump could work together, which they will need to do.
I love how people like you are still stupid enough to think Cruz is holding out because he is standing on the Constitution. Ted is about Ted he has no interest in working with Trump. He wants one thing, another shot in 2020.
