Did anybody else watch Laura Ingraham deliver her TERRIFIC speech at the convention on Fox News? If you did, you probably wanted to pull an Elvis on your TV set when for some BIZARRE reason, Fox News cut from the middle of Ingraham's speech to go to a rather mundane Talking Points Memo presented by Bill O'Reilly.
It was jaw-dropping how STUPID it was to do this especially since Laura is a regular contributor to Fox News. WHY? Can anybody out there give a rational reason for such a DOPEY decision?
Fortunately I was able to watch the full speech unfiltered on CSPAN but I still can't get over why in the middle of such an incredible speech, they pulled away from it.
Bkmk
Besides not having any talking heads, I won't have to listen or see Ted Baxter (BOR!)
“they are SO FULL OF THEMSELVES,”
They are. It’s a problem I’ve had with Fox News for a while. Almost all of their “talent” are disgustingly smug. I’d rather watch CNN.
maggief: I Watch on C-SPAN.
ExTexasRedhead and BunnySlippers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqNhDVcvrsg / Also, no commercials on You Tube where I have watched the last few days.
avital2: uverse has an RNC channel which i immediately went to when they left Lauras speech.
surroundedbyblue: We are watching OANN because Fox is dead in this house
victim soul: Direct tv channel 347 live with no commentary.
Heavyrunner: Yeah, I was listening on Sirius
daku: Im getting it streamed from rnclive
joma89: We are watching on a Fire TV with the RNC app so we just get the full feed with no commentary or cutting away.
Other options are Twitch, Twitter (moderated to minimize nasty comments), Facebook Live (I watched Tiffany's speech last night on it and apparently any comments are allowed - I dropped but before I did I must say that the majority of the comments were positive).
But my point is - the MSM domination of driving the thought process and telling people what they saw and heard is not what they saw and heard is officially over.
I stopped watching over a year ago but watched it for the convention. Nothing’s changed.
NPR did the same thing. Are these station executives stupid? Yes! They think that I want to hear David Brooks and the other leftists on their panel wax on. So I turned them off and watched online!
Laura was amazing.
Exactly,Fox is embarrassingly lousy coverage. Who in the bell wants to hear their ego trips spewing. Blah blah blah....
Fox News had had dreadful coverage of this convention. Although I was recording it on FNC, I’ve been watching, either on Fox Business Channel, or on CNN.
FNC keeps putting up their talking heads and showing the speakers on split screen with the sound turned down. I don’t like the commentary on CNN, but at least they show the whole speeches and leave the commentary until they are after they are done.
Same with C-Span
I watch the convention on CSPAN—gavel to gavel coverage with no commentary, so I saw her entire speech.
I went,to,CSPAN and stayed there. Nice coverage.
Watch the convention on CSPAN.
Fox has been cutting off a lot of speeches. Their coverage has been horrid.
For DirecTV subscribers, channel 347 is carrying the convention, unmoderated, uninterrupted.
The reason why Fox News cut off Laura Ingram’s speech might be because she is a Fox News contributor, as is Newt Gingrich, who spoke after Cruz at the convention. Since I didn’t watch Fox News, I don’t know if they carried his speech, or not.
Thank God for C-SPAN!
Yep. I learned 4 years ago... the best front-row seat at the convention is at C-SPAN. It’s like you’re actually AT the convention.
