It’s “unlikely” that any of the star anchors of Fox News will be exiting with Roger Ailes when he leaves tonight or tomorrow.
“There’s too much money involved,” says a network news expert insider. “Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Greta van Susteren– even if they have key man clauses they’re not going anywhere to start a new network with Roger Ailes.”
Ailes, my source says, has no non-compete clause so he can go anywhere. But remember– Ailes foundered at CNBC before Rupert Murdoch came along with deep pockets. And the Fox anchors are paid handsomely. “They’re not just going to leave without a plan,” the expert says.
Think of O’Reilly in particular with complicated custody and divorce agreements. Don’t think Fox wouldn’t leak the story of his sexual harassment lawsuit if he tried to follow Ailes out the door.
My expert says, bluntly, “This is the work of Lachlan Murdoch. He’s been waiting for this.” Lachlan was literally driven out of town — back to Australia– by Ailes years ago. And Megyn Kelly’s perfidy? “She didn’t feel supported by Ailes during the Trump fighting this year.”

It is my opinion the Murdoch’s are lefties, but they know the business, and thus Ailes tenure with Fox.
If Ailes is out then I’d believe perhaps a setup to make it appear (something Democrats/the left are very adept at) as something other than what it is.
I believe Ailes is out, and perhaps some of his people as well, because Hillary is struggling, and FOX is needed to come to the rescue by eliminating the cheerleading for her opposition, and or also to support her campaign.
It’s all leftist politics. It’s all about Hillary.

Fox hasn’t been Conservative since ‘08 (...I’m being really charitable with that late date) and all this deal did was validate my decision to drop cable then.
Trump has deep pockets.
He could buy OAN.
Then make Hannity, O’Really and Van Sustren a good offer to go to OAN.
This could be Trump’s revenge on FOX NEWS... served very cold.
It would also end up making him some cash..IMO
Then buy the rights to that new movie “Hillary’s America.. The Secret History Of The Democratic Party” and run it nightly on OAN and stream OAN online for free.
The timing may be right for OAN to bust out.

But a really big obstacle is the fact that while Ailes leaves with a reported $40 LARGE, OReilly, Hannity, et al would leave with nothing beyond what they’ve invested from past paychecks, and a probable restriction from working for a competitor for several years.

You might want to read this! If true, they have no restriction if Ailes is forced out.

This talent added that there is a lot expected to come out about how much Kelly’s colleagues despise her. “The entire building hates her,” the source said. “Nobody cares that she’s upset about a frickin’ hug.”
