Oklahoma City Police released security camera footage on July 18, showing the fatal shooting of Miguel Angel Chavez-Angles on a public bus. Chavez-Angles, 42, was shot and killed on June 24 after throwing a fire extinguisher and trying to seize a gun from one of the officers on the metro bus. Oklahoma City Police said the officers were responding to a vandalism report and Chavez-Angles had fled to the bus after jumping into another vehicle.

My favorite female cop was Beckett on Castle. She always wore stilettos. Easy to run and fight in those.
Actually he didn't, she put up a fight. With that being said, the result would likely have been the same with a male cop entering the bus considering the thug had the high ground and bum rushed the officer once she was into the cab.............
I have absolutely no criticism of her whatsoever and salute her for her selflessness in entering the bus first, not knowing if the thug was armed or not..........
As a supporting side note, how many times have we seen a thug overpower the initial MALE officer who was thankfully rescued by his partner?
Must have had only six rounds in his gun!! Shame on the LEO if he had more rounds and didn’t empty the gun on him. He should have reloaded and shot him again to make sure he takes the eternal dirt nap. I guess it will be “Hispanic Lives Matter” protesting now.

Yep. The guy was behaving like he was on bath salts. She gets on the bus, walks directly to him gun extended like she’s at the range, and practically hands it to him. She and her partner reminded me of the portly, shall we say, guard pair from the first couple seasons of “Orange is the New ...”. I don’t begrudge her rescuer the extra few shots he gave the crazy guy point blank into the chest as he lay on the floor of the bus. That couple seconds was a helluva demonstration of adrenaline kicking in. But a grand jury might disagree.
