CLEVELAND -- So the speech on the first night of the Republican National Convention that "everyone is talking about" was Melania Trump's endorsing her husband's candidacy, which appeared to have lifted passages from Michelle Obama's speech endorsing her husband's candidacy eight years ago.

Mooch’s 2008 speech spoke a lot about ‘the struggle’, Melania’s....not at all....
Mooch’s speech transcript....

The obvious error was in the spelling of "through" so I intentionally used the wrong tense of "run" to, oh, ferget it. Having to explain a joke sucks all the funny out of it.
Sheesh.
There is no debate
Trump needs to hold a presser and fire whoever wrote it and graciously attribute the fine words to Chewy and move on
I don’t see how this happened by accident and nor do I think Melania did it on her own
I love her....you can tell she is a mom and wife firstest
I like that in women
Comparisons. The selection of the speakers was genius! The whole night is for people to use their critical thinking! To compare. It was about the people impacted by leftist policies and the last 7 and 1/2 years of incompetence. The hate America crowd compared to the crowd that loves America!
The true & raw emotion of those wronged.
What family really does embody the values in Melanias speech? Compare.
After 7 and 1/2 years can you say that the Obamas do?
Snort.
And let's not forget he chose the most famous plagiarist of all, Joe Biden, for his Vice-President!!!
The left cracks me up. I had to tune into CNN & MSNBC to hear them squealing that this was going to sink the Trump candidacy once again (yawn). Seriously, they were obsessed with talking about it!!!
Agreed. I’m a yuuuge Trump supporter, but this was sloppy, only because it gives the media a shiny new object to focus on instead of the takedown on Hillary Clinton’s failed leadership last night. The best way to handle this would be for the Trump campaign to say, “Sure focus on the fiddle while Rome burns”...and move on, but someone on the staff needs to be let go for allowing that to happen.
More blathering, bovine excrement from the pink panty crowd.
Hillary Clinton - always attacking the women.
It never ends with her.
Anything to keep from discussing why an IT guy was in Benghazi and why he was murdered.
who is the first to say “your word is your bond”
hmmmmm.....every father EVER.
Mooseshell stole how many lines? remember the black and red dress of the radical anarchist party at their victory party?
remember pmsnbc cheering openly at barakopolis.
fist lady comparisons are a beautiful swan (melania) or a “overweight bovine” (mooseshell) or a skirt chasing dude who looks like he has consumed too many recreational pharmaceuticals (bill) ...
Oh gawd. I’m not sure if I can keep my lunch down when Hillary Clinton speaks next week at the Democratic National Convention in that grating monotone voice.
I thought it was funny...... carry on :^)
Thank you. My faith in FReepanity has been restored.
After reviewing both speeches, clearly they expressed the same thoughts from different perspectives. That being said, I find the words from Mejania to ring much truer than the same words from the Wookie who said on a different occasion that she truly detested the USA and declined to place her right hand over her heart during the national anthem being played. Her husband declined as well.Nit pickers are welcome to make any comparison between the two. You will find that Mrs Trump will be the better every time! It’s time to say goodbye to a rat infested WH. GO TRUMP/PENCE!!!!!
The DC sniper used the “word is bond” in one of his notes to the idiot police chief...forgot his name.
Yeah, the media got #triggered last night and are now in their reliable #safespaces.
Clinton campaign is trying to suppress yesterday convention speakers allegation that Hillary killed her son.
oops—MELANIA
It was bad. It was plagiarism. Someone in the Trump campaign screwed up. I felt bad for her, but we would be terrible to the other side if they did something that amateurish.
