Meet the New Unofficial Trump-Pence Logo Developed by HotHunt & Tweaked by Malsua

Okay, I propose that the Trump-Pence logo below be designated the unofficial logo of the campaign. It was originally designed by Freeper HotHunt and tweaked by Freeper Malsua into the final design you see. The original 16 was ditched since we already know what year it is. Also the letters T & P were enlarged and since P belongs to both Trump and Pence, it is divided diagonally by color. Also the "Make America Great Again" was tweaked so it matches in width the names above.

I like this logo because of its simplicity and the fact it could also fit on a bumper sticker. I hope we can get word to the Trump-Pence campaign to replace its current graphics dense logo and replace it with this one. In any event, I think a lot of folks will end up printing out this unofficial logo as bumper stickers, T-shirts, and as signs.

We had fun making logos last night. I wanted mine to represent prosperity to come. Gold for President, Silver for Vice President. It suggests the Olympics as well.

Offer it to,the Trump folks. If they like it they’ll use it - if not you gave it a good try.

If not then it will STILL be used at least unofficially on bumper stickers and signs. There is nothing to now stop people from downloading this logo and making bumper stickers and signs out of it.

As my dad counseled me when I left home to enter the military. Half the people you meet in life will like you and the other half won't. Nothing you can do about it. That's the way it is. Just focus on those that like you. They won't wear you out quite as fast as those that dislike you.

Seems like designing this logo on a lark (with some unsolicited help it seems) has produced the same results. Half like it, half don't. Some are critical. Others just critique. But everybody seems to have something to add to the mix.

To those who like it, thanks from me (and Malsua). And for those who didn't care for it, that's fine too. You see, you're in that other half my dad told me about.

The end result IMHO is that the logo you design and tweaked by Malsua is much better than the official logo. I’ll see if I can find that official logo & post here for comparison.

Here is the latest official logo. It doesn't work for me. Too much going on with that photo plus Pence is partly cut out.

I find it hard to believe that the logo the campaign put out was so poorly designed. I have a business degree but self-taught myself design and digital graphics programs. And I'm an old guy. Any young designer nowadays could do a great logo in their sleep.

Logo design is always a strange process to me. It usually takes days or weeks of messing with and tweaking my original designs. But at some point my customer was happy and needed to go to press, but I could always find things I would have done differently had I had more time to ponder it.

I’d make all letters the same size. The large “P” makes it seem belong more to Pence than to Trump.
