Still smarting from his loss in the primary, Cruz says hell use his convention speech to outline his own vision of the Republican Partys future. But will he endorse?
One of these days, and maybe soon, Ted Cruz just might have to endorse Donald Trump.
But hell never concede Trump could have beaten him in a fair fight and hell never accept that Trumps me-first philosophy represents a sustainable future for the GOP. Above all, Cruz wants to use the big stage in Cleveland to present a non-Trump alternative vision for his partys future, one rooted in constitutional conservative principles and competent campaign management modeled, oddly enough, on Barack Obamas 2008 and 2012 White House runs.
In this election I am where a great many voters are, which is that I am listening and watching and coming to a decision, Cruz, the highest-profile Trump holdout heading into this weeks convention, told me when I asked him if he intended to throw his support behind the former reality TV star imminently.

This TPP & HB1 Visa pimp is not the future of any party I want to be involved with.
IT’S ALL ABOUT ME !
The Cubanadian can shove off, eh?
Cruz is delusional so-and-so. He is not a leader. He is a delusional spoiler.
Cruz’s father needs a deposition on JFK’s murder.
Look at Cruz’s resume. He’s always been a Bush dynasty guy, from GWBs first run for President. It does seem there was a favorite son strategy where all the crybabies would win their home states, then give their delegates to Jeb.
Yep. Cruz never had an anti-establishment bone in his body until he self servingly jumped on the TEA party express.
What a stupid thing to say. If it was unfair, it benefitted Cruz. Trump took all the heat off Cruz for almost a year!
This Canadian POS creep needs to go to the philly convention where he belongs. Take his bun punching buddy Mike Lee with him.
Me neither. He has a screw loose. The man is dangerous.
Sore losers all around.
Cut him!
Cut him!
I think Trump needs to take his slot away...what he pulled today was a disgrace to the party...and the American Voters...
We chose Trump, that’s who we voted for, not Cruz...Cruz quit his campaign in Indiana, he didn’t go on and campaign after that, he didn’t bring in 14 million new voters to the Republican Party, he didn’t raise over 11 million dollars for the RNC party for down votes in less than 24 hours, and he didn’t enter the nomination with 1543 delegates when he only needed 1237, Cruz has 559 delegates, and that is counting Iowa and Colorado...he should be lucky he has that many...
It wasn’t Trump that was born in Canada and ran for a Senate Seat and lied about his Canadian Birthright, it wasn’t Trump that lied about his Goldman Sachs and Citibank loans, it wasn’t Trump that lied about his ‘off shore account’ in Jamacia, it wasn’t Trump that lied about his health insurance, it wasn’t Trump that lied period...
Trump has been in the news since he was starting his business with his Father, every bit of news they could find, there isn’t anything they could fine on Trump unless it’s a Cruz/Hillary pumped up lie...
Cruz needs to go back to Texas where he represents that State and forget about politics period, he is a liar, he’s a cheat and he is a thief and if the people of Texas re elect him, they are just as bad as Utahans for re electing the two bit Mike Lee...
No, that was last February. Now, he should not be rewarded in any way for his continued doubledealing and backstabbing. I don’t think you can kick him out of the party, but I would make sure he got zero support.
Amen!
He’ll endorse. They are trying to draw viewers.
That is sooooo cheesy.
It always reminded me of Publishers Clearinghouse
CRUZ NEEDS HELP.
The best thing that the Republican Party can do is remove Cruz from this convention, get him the intervention that he needs, and tell him to raise his kids while his wife continues her career at Goldman Sacks. Also make sure that Ted doesn’t have access to a bathtub anytime his kids are near him without professional supervision.
The man needs help, and we all need to work to protect the INNOCENT PEOPLE that are in his life.
Well, at least on knowing 0swald or the organization 0swald was ‘part’ of then. And there’s the whole reason for leaving the US.
He could not even beat him in an unfair fight (cf. Colorado)
