Still smarting from his loss in the primary, Cruz says he’ll use his convention speech to outline his own vision of the Republican Party’s future. But will he endorse?
One of these days, and maybe soon, Ted Cruz just might have to endorse Donald Trump.
But he’ll never concede Trump could have beaten him in a fair fight — and he’ll never accept that Trump’s me-first philosophy represents a sustainable future for the GOP. Above all, Cruz wants to use the big stage in Cleveland to present a non-Trump alternative vision for his party’s future, one rooted in constitutional conservative principles and competent campaign management modeled, oddly enough, on Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 White House runs.
“In this election I am where a great many voters are, which is that I am listening and watching and coming to a decision,” Cruz, the highest-profile Trump holdout heading into this week’s convention, told me when I asked him if he intended to throw his support behind the former reality TV star imminently.

We chose Trump, that’s who we voted for, not Cruz...Cruz quit his campaign in Indiana, he didn’t go on and campaign after that, he didn’t bring in 14 million new voters to the Republican Party, he didn’t raise over 11 million dollars for the RNC party for down votes in less than 24 hours, and he didn’t enter the nomination with 1543 delegates when he only needed 1237, Cruz has 559 delegates, and that is counting Iowa and Colorado...he should be lucky he has that many...

No, that was last February. Now, he should not be rewarded in any way for his continued doubledealing and backstabbing. I don’t think you can kick him out of the party, but I would make sure he got zero support.

CRUZ NEEDS HELP.
The best thing that the Republican Party can do is remove Cruz from this convention, get him the intervention that he needs, and tell him to raise his kids while his wife continues her career at Goldman Sacks. Also make sure that Ted doesn’t have access to a bathtub anytime his kids are near him without professional supervision.
The man needs help, and we all need to work to protect the INNOCENT PEOPLE that are in his life.
