Funny they only care about the constitution and wars when Republicans are in office. I wonder why?

Of course they are, bless their little hearts.
I am sure President Trump will show them all the respect they deserve.

Gee!
All of obama’s agenda has been unconstitutional, and they haven’t made any ruckus about that.

50 years ago when I was younger and dumber (but I would like to think no less idealistic and no less committed to the Constitution), I joined the ACLU believing that it was an organization operating on principle. 50 years of observation have disabused me of that notion.
In my defense I can say that the 1960s were a different time in which the Warren court, despite its overreaching in its abundant faults, was expanding the rights of individuals in ways that were arguably principled. Thorny issues like separation of church and state and the privacy rights of individuals were defensible on both sides. Now it is impossible to regard the ACLU as anything other than a rank pressure group which inhabits our jurisprudence with a consistently leftist goal and an unquenchable thirst to exploit the Constitution, no different in purpose or method than the Southern Poverty Law Center.
In reviewing these allegations laid out in this article, one sees no specifics, no precedents, no application of the Constitution to specific facts. What we will see is a guerrilla campaign tailored toward jurists like Ruth Bader Ginsburg to pop out preordained rulings.
Meanwhile, I will have to nurse my pesky but orphaned libertarian tendencies without the dubious help of the ACLU.

Would it be unconstitutional if Trump targeted the ACLU with Drone strikes, and then blamed it on Obama.

How could a person go about destroying the ACLU, I wonder?
IIRC, the ACLU gets beaucoup bucks from Uncle Sam. Cutting that off would be a good start.

One of Trump's first Bills sent to congress should name the ACLU and Planned Parenthood as anti-American terrorist organizations to be immediately shuttered, with all their executives and employees being spayed/neutered to prevent our having to hunt down and exterminate their defective progeny.
Just a thought...

Must be why their former Legal Counsel Granny Ginsburg was going after Trump last week.

Amen to that! It seems like the ACLU has become just another leftist infested force against freedom.

One of Trump's first Bills sent to congress should name the ACLU and Planned Parenthood as anti-American terrorist organizations He'll first have to get over his delusion that ""Millions of millions of women -- cervical cancer, breast cancer -- are helped by Planned Parenthood."
