This Obama comment was made after the suspect was identified by race, to Obama's staff by law enforcement in Louisiana.
And that is the reason why the Obama's speech was delayed about 25 minutes. That was the information the White House was seeking before Obama would make a televised comment.

it’s absolute chaos both domestically and internationally. that’s what happens after 8 years of an empty suit in the white house. I only hope we get to January without it getting dramatically worse.

I am friended with several people who constantly post pro Obama and anti conservative stuff. They are not hateful or malicious, just naive. They have been very silent since this last attack. Maybe it’s dawning on them.
