Couldn’t Jindal have turned it around and asked Shep if his life or lives of Caucasians along with other non-black groups if we must categorize are as equally important or valid before the eyes of the law or the Constitution or before God?

I have a friend from India who always considered himself black (said so all the time and was very sympathetic to black causes, etc.)—even tho he was a dark-skinned Indian.
