Not ‘the’ national Ronald McDonald, but was Ronald McDonald for a local chain. May have been named ‘Donald McDonald’.

http://www.thejoyboys.com/ronald.htm has some video of him in character, however the McDonalds website link is broken.

"...but Barack Hussein Soetoro Odinga Soebarkah Whatever 0bama’s past (other than the Choom Gang) is still a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma."

You misspelled the last word. Should be e-n-e-m-a.

Lieutenant Richard M. Nixon and was assigned as the naval passenger control officer for the South Pacific Combat Air Transport Command, supporting the logistics of operations in the South West Pacific theater. Nixon was the Officer in Charge of the Combat Air Transport Command at Guadalcanal in the Solomons and in March 1944 at Green Island just north of Bougainville. While there, Nixon opened a “Nick’s Hamburger Stand” for flight crews on their way to battle missions.

He also developed a skill for poker. Nixon established himself as a champion poker player, and soon became known as the best player in the Navy.   Along with this title, came considerable winnings.   It is estimated that Nixon accumulated almost $10,000 during his stint in the navy, a considerable sum in the 1940’s.
