Royce Mann, an eighth grader from Atlanta, Ga., took the Internet by surprise with his poem called, “white boy privilege” that he wrote and recited at his school’s poetry slam contest in May.
In the video recently posted by his mother on YouTube, 14-year-old Mann expresses his thoughts on race, gender and equality issues.
He began the poem by saying how grateful he was to have been born a white male and said that he loved his “white boy privilege.”
He goes on to talk about the ways in which life is better for him than minorities and women before adding that things need to change.

And any of his black peers who are not stars but his equal intelligence will also go to college and get the same job he does.

Concur. Separate and allow them to police their own communities. Of course, this would necessitate creation of a third community for those who wish to mingle. And let them support themselves, too, while we’re at it.
The sad thing is that a kid of his age already has a head full of bigotry and racist stereotypes. I suspect his parents planted the idea that people who aren't white are being, or should be watched in restaurants because they might "steal the silverware". That's a ridiculous idea, and something I doubt even KKK members think happens.
He stereotypically equates skin color with "whether or not there will be food on his plate". So he thinks that poverty doesn't affect white people, or perhaps is caused by skin color. Those are also ridiculous ideas. Worrying about enough food to eat is a symptom of poverty, or poor life management skills, or a host of other things but isn't something that depends on skin color.
And his idea that "he can see a police officer and know that he is on his side" sounds more like the privilege of the elite, or a simple lack of understanding.
It is really tragic when leftists push their racism down onto their children using their twisted logic.
