No freezing expected

That's because you're down there, not up here..

There is white outside. And the winter storm claimed a victim right in front (sort of) the house at the T intersection. A female driving a white coloured car of somekind took the right turn to fast and slid in the direction of previous motion. Instead of turning south she continued east (at a strange angle) and took out the stop sign with the side of her white vehicle of somekind. This was followed in rapid order by her running out of pavement to slide on. Unfortunately the shoulder isn't. Shoulder in that spot is more properly classified as 'ditch' and that's where she stopped.

But she did end up pointing in her intended direction..

Now I wonder how many cars will not stop due to the non-visible stopsign and end up in our drive..

That sounds decidedly winterish.

We had rain in Ar-KAN-sas the whole time I was there, but it was colder in the house than it was outside. I only took my jacket off to sleep and shower. Really sad story, that.

I came home to 37 degrees for a high, and frost on my windshield. I’m glad I’m not a New Year’s Reveler. I wouldn’t be on the Strip in the cold with a bunch of drunks for anything in the world. No. Not. Never. Nada.

I’ll stay in where it’s warm and hope I don’t have to hear any local revelers. Sleep is the best way to welcome in the New Year.... Of course, I could always drag out my New Year 2000 tape and watch it...
