I just got back from opening up. I went up at 0545, and before I could leave, Zeke came in, closely followed by James the drunk.
I told them of the stuff going on yesterday, and they were as perplexed as I was. Still, I’m not going to get upset about it all. There’s no sense in that.

I'd be perplexed, too. Just write it off as someone being nutty.
The guys from the towing company came, and they started the van. They said the battery is dead. I drove it to the mechanic, and he's going to look at it and call me back in a bit. Tom came in the car, and I bought him gas at the Exxon and pie at the Walmart. Now we're Pending as we wait for news of the van.
I'll leave about 12:30 for Kathleen's riding lesson, in some vehicle or other.
