Few vehicles live that long ,’ere. The Salt and road conditions just kill them.
Looks as if the lower spring support that is welded to the strutpart broke/rusted off and allowed the spring to decompress. Which leaves it resting on the tire.
Pair of new struts on order, supposedly shipped today but UPS says they don’t have them yet.
