Was with a friend who bought one in Cali in the 90s at a Sacramento Gun Show.
Soviet issue in the original box and wrappings, with the spike bayonet.
Funny thing, no waiting period. You could not buy a 22 pistol without a 10 day wait, but this was cash and carry.
As He was leaving with it a Cop stopped him “hey, where you going with that?”. His partner corrected him, “ it’s legal, considered an antique, no waiting period”. The other Cop was just shaking his head.

It was bad enough when all we had to screech about was the scary black rifle. Now we have a scary orange rifle to whimper and whine about too?

Two kinds of scary rifle? How will we ever keep all that straight!
