They sneak her in for an interview over the holiday and then immediately announce the first day back from holiday to optimize the news cycle. Clinton did not “meet with” Lynch, Lynch wanted to meet with Bubba couple days ahead of the FBI meeting so she could tell him what to expect. That’s why they tried to stop any photos, that was part of the whole process to quash it getting out. But if it did get out, they knew they could just spin it as “ Thats just ol schmoozy Bubba and he might be kinda senile at this point”. Why do you think she then conveniently recused herself, knowing that Comey was in on it as well but she didn’t want Hills to stumble any during the interview.
