I don’t believe I’ve ever “nodded and winked” at it. Maybe that’s why so many people I know think I’m either an a-hole, grumpy or just plain mean.
I’ve been calling it as I see it for years. Many times I’ve been told (while in the military) to not talk about certain issues but I did anyway. Maybe that’s why I didn’t get promoted as fast as some others.
Dito with heaping amounts of Great Awakenings/repentance/turning away from our sins.

I think we have all gone Galt to some extent over the past few years.
We see the storm clouds on the horizon, and try to prepare for them.
However, while we still have a voice and peaceful means to affect outcomes, we must use them.
The reps in DC are in a bubble and they need to know we are angry about what has happened.
100% of the Congressmen and one third of the Senators are up for re-election in November.
They need to know that 2016 is not business as usual.
Those in power can laugh all they want, but when the tomatoes start flying in their general direction, they know the peasants are not happy.
History is clear that there are times in which action, and not words, is required. We are almost there.
Trump will win if he fights.
In time of war, spreading demoralizing talk amongst the troops will get you thrown in the brig, and likely court martialed.
If dude wants to strike his colors and surrender, fine, just do it in private, and stop trying to sell that cheese eating viewpoint to those who still have some fight left in them.

It’s time for diplomacy by other means
They were really not even subtle about it. Obama scheduled a rally with her on the day Comey announces??? They sneak her in for an interview over the holiday and then immediately announce the first day back from holiday to optimize the news cycle. Clinton did not “meet with” Lynch, Lynch wanted to meet with Bubba couple days ahead of the FBI meeting so she could tell him what to expect. That’s why they tried to stop any photos, that was part of the whole process to quash it getting out. But if it did get out, they knew they could just spin it as “ Thats just ol schmoozy Bubba and he might be kinda senile at this point”. Why do you think she then conveniently recused herself, knowing that Comey was in on it as well but she didn’t want Hills to stumble any during the interview.
