It’s good to see that some fathers DO care!

Almost sounds like dear ole dad escaped from whatever facility was providing custodial care.

Pretty funny - his father put a picture in the ad, but it wasn’t a recent picture.

Looks like Dad has been watching too much reality TV with his “lady friend.”

This would make a nice ‘feel good’ movie. Ryan Reynolds (Green-Lantern) could play the young store owner. Robert DeNiro could play the elder store owner. Jennifer Lawrence and Melissa McCarthy would have parts too.

I saw them on tv. The son was quite handsome and charming which leads me to believe he enjoys playing the field and not settling down.

I think you’re right, but you might draw a chick like the one in the Eagles’ LYIN’ EYES. One who wants double sugar.

I dated a guy whose father would enquire about the health histories of his son’s serious ladies and their families. I wasn’t a serious date, we were better off as friends. But I would have never answered those questions anyway. BTW, both father and son were doctors.

I went to read the whole story....so I went to the People entry. It is very funny. The father (speaking as the son) says ‘I’m 5’5”, so if you are 5’8” we may have a problem’. He also says ‘if you voted for Obama and are planning on voting for Hillary, you are not for me’. It really is a pretty cute story......the father pretending to be the son looking for a wife. The son says ‘it isn’t easy finding a Jewish woman in Salt Lake City’. And then hugged his dad. A sweet story in the midst of all the disgusting major news stories of today.

Having frequently traveled to Coeur d’Alene... That’s not the place you want to be looking. Just saying. There are not so slim slim pickins.

For some reason, the crazy ones are really good in bed. Or so I’m told by the old guys at the pool hall.

There may be other reasons why the son, 48, remains a "confirmed bachelor" (at least that's what they used to call it).
