Maybe Johnny Manziel is taking seriously all the good advice people keep giving him to clean up his act.
At least he says he plans to, after this one sweet kegger hes throwing in Mexico.
Manziel told TMZ that hes going completely sober starting July 1st.

This is not someone who has accepted the fact that he has a problem, and has a sincere desire to do something about it. If that were the case, he wouldn't remain in a house where he knows people are doing drugs, he would leave immediately. He wouldn't announce that he's going to quit drinking "in a few days", but first is going to enjoy one last kegger. If he were serious about getting sober, he would announce that he's already had his last drink, that he's seeking the help he needs, and he's putting some distance between himself and those who have been enabling his destructive lifestyle. Having "one last blowout" with a house full of drinking and drugging friends is not the first step towards sobriety.
And Ricky Williams had like a 10 year career, where during several of those years he was the best back in the league. Manziel has done nothing.
I quit drinking last night...
Had a roommate that said “Anybody can quit smoking, but it takes a real man to face cancer.”
I see no reason for a conservator to run his finances. If he decides to blow a fortune on booze and dope, he’s over 21. And I never saw a single thing with Spears that meant her family should run her finances.
Since when is being wild and partying a license for relatives to step in and run everything? Retarded and ridiculous.
My heroin addicted brother has said this about 200X over the past 20 years.
FAIL
“When I did finally quit, I stopped cold turkey, never told anyone...”.
That really is the key. Just do it for yourself and keep it to yourself.
Did your roommate end up becoming a "real man?"
Johnny Wagon
“The ole Wimpy excuse: Ill gladly enter rehab next week for a wild party tonight.”
wait a sec. if i remember my popeye cartoons correctly, it was: “I’ll gladly enter rehab on Tuesday for a hamburger today.”
That’s asking for a serious case of the DTs
Yep. Two drugs can kill you upon sudden withdrawal, and heroin isn't one of them. Alcohol and barbiturates.
He’s a loser.
Haven’t seen him in years.
