My understanding of Biblical “tohu” is as “formless substance” and “bohu” as “form without substance”. “Tohubohu” could be regarded as “something from which no sense can yet been made”, i.e. “confusion”.

Gosh, at first glance I thought Tohubohu might be a tasty Hawaiian dish, but then I remembered the word of the day must be used in a sentence relevant to current news, so how about those disgusting demonic-rats turning the U.S. House of Representatives into a chamber of shameful Tohubohu?

For those who might not know ‘tohu uvohu’ is the Hebrew phrase translated in the KJV as ‘without form and void’ in Genesis.

I had no idea it was made into an English word and have never seen it used as such.

Yep, that is our bad a** puppy. Cuddlebugs is her new groomer and they take pictures of her every time she goes in. For a $5 donation we get a pic. This one is a great one.
