Indeed.
2005 was a year of turning and in hind site around the time I came to despise the GOP.
Why was such a policy allowed to stand?
Because there was a Republican President and Congress. We kid ourselves by thinking that the GOP is a godly party. They are not. They are just as bad as the other side. While there may be some good people in the party, as a corporate body it is just as evil and corrupt as the democrats. George W. Bush fooled us all.
Or if it was on a military base the Commanding Officer could have him charged with terroristic threats and the speaker can wind up in GTMO to be released to some Muslem country at Barry’s whim.
Its long past time to have started to shoot back.
This has gone too far. That base commander must be removed immediately! Even if his superiors - and I use that term guardedly - agree with the underlying premise, he showed stunningly poor judgment. The airmen should be disciplined and taught that unlawful orders should be refused.
Even George Wawshington himself, who established the Chaplaincy, would have that colonel cashiered.
No, read the article. The retiree specifically asked for the speaker. He is renown for his delivery. The ceremony is decidedly NOT silent. We perform it countless times.
The Air Force has clearly been utterly co-opted by obama.
It happened at Travis, where I retired from. I rarely go on base anymore. It’s not the same Air Force I was in.

I absolutely agree.
When the hassan worm showed signs of islamic radicalism, nothing was done. He actively preached his gutter religion while he was in the armed services, and he was not stopped.
Then this happens.
Do you get it now? The left, now in charge of our military, is doing all it can to eliminate Christianity and replace it with islam.
Get it?
The head thug in charge is a Muslim.
The point is, someone else interferred where it is clearly allowed and constitutional to speak freely
Makes sense now why Obama and thugs want to "hire Officers off the street"... Too many honorable people still in our armed services who will stand with Senior Master Sergeant Oscar Rodriguez against the lowlifes.
Oh, and hats off to Master Sargeant Rodriguez... he's earned our respect.
My drill instructor, back in 1966, said he was worried the day would come when God could never be mentioned on an AF Base.
Well, it’s here.
"...who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time;...that it is time enough for the rightful purposes of civil government, for its officers to interfere when principles break out into overt acts against peace and good order; and finally, that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them. ""I HAVE SWORN UPON THE ALTAR OF GOD ETERNAL HOSTILITY TO EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN"--The Virginia Act For Establishing Religious Freedom

The rest of the vanpool was creeped out by his response.
I wonder if that's because they're more removed from the act of war than the Army, Navy, Marines, and even the Coast Guard. I suspect that breeds a culture of "just follow orders" more than in other branches, because the incompetence of a superior officer doesn't put them in quite the same danger as it does in the other branches. But I've never served in any branch of the military, so that perception is based on my possibly flawed understanding of how things work, I admit. I'd be interested in the comments of those who have served in the military.

When Americans stand by and do nothing about egregious crimes such as this we have forfeited our nation!
