I didnt know you can read
You’re right, but without Irving Cleveland ain’t winning the championship. The man to make the big shot now for Cleveland is Irving, not James. But basketball is a funny game. As bad as the Warriors played and as bad as they were hobbled, if two more shots go in they are World Champs and all we’d be hearing is how great the Warriors are...even playing injured, and how James can’t win the big one. Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports is particularly bothersome. After the Warriors had blown out Cleveland after the second game he was saying James was over the hill and would never win another one and that Warriors are the team now and will be for years. He heaped praise all over Curry. You can guess what he’s saying now. James is the greatest player who ever lived and Curry is overrated because he’s not a very good defensive player. If two more shots had of fallen for the Warriors James would again be over the bill and Curry the greatest player in decades.
thanks for the nice post...why do some freeprs have to rain on a great parade..ha?
LOL!!
GREAT COMEBACK!
I just heard the Cavs had left Oakland right after the game and flew straight to Vegas to celebrate.
Wise move.
Leave Jerruh Brown’s town asap. Spend no more time there than necessary.
Especially with all the violent protestors in the unstable bay.
Besides, Vegas knows how to party.
I have been, thus I know from where I speak. Cleveland is a craphole. It's the mistake by the lake. The best thing about Cleveland is driving through it on my way to somewhere else, which I've done quite often over the past 30 years.
ROFL!!!! Put the crack pipe down, son.
Right. And the NBA and Ref's didn't hand the game to LeBron and Cleveland in Game 7.
You need to put your crack pipe down too, just like the poster above you. It was all made for TV drama. A simpleton could see that.
Cleveland deserved to win. They played better than the Warriors. See you in the finals next year!
It’s a date.
Ah yes, one can learn and know so much about a community from the driver’s seat of a moving car pedaling down I90 or the turnpike. Personally, I’ve seen most every city in this country and quite a few overseas, sixty five countries in fact. And I’ve been in some genuine “crap holes”. Port au Prince, Haiti, Aleppo, Syria, and Patiala, India somehow come to mind. Next time you’re passing through Cleveland do what I did in those places. Get the hell out and don’t look back.
So, yeah, there is a lot of sports-based rivalry and animosity. But there is also a lot of rust belt solidarity, and Cleveland would be the first city to go on the warpath if anyone tried to take the Steelers out of Pittsburgh.
We fight so much because we're so much alike. I know a lot of folks in Pittsburgh were actually cheering for the Cavs to win.
Oh, and that post-victory "riot" we were supposed to have? Five total arrests in the entire downtown that night -- less than the average.
